Three requirements
Kindness. Respect. Commitment. These are the three requirements that protect the way we build together. They come to life through our 5Cs: Confidence, Cooperation, Creativity, Charity and Conviviality.
Here, belonging is not measured by a name on a list, but by the quality of relationships, reliability and each person’s contribution.
What we expect from every member
- Listen before judging, and respect differences in background, beliefs and means.
- Keep your commitments, or say so in time when you cannot. A broken promise costs more than a clear no.
- Take initiative and contribute without waiting for everything to come from others.
- Protect the confidentiality of what is said within the circle when it is personal.
- Speak up when something is wrong, rather than letting it settle in.
What we do not tolerate
No form of harassment, discrimination, verbal or physical violence, nor use of the network for personal purposes contrary to the association’s mission. The board can be contacted at any time at contact@cericlub.org.
Kindness does not exclude high standards
It gives them a human framework. We prefer a frank remark, delivered with respect, to a polite silence that lets a situation deteriorate.
